A mindfulness experience based on Overcoming Anxiety
Anxiety is an organic part of the human condition. In Australia, anxiety is increasingly diagnosed and is a major community challenge. Would you like to explore options to better self-manage your anxiety using mindfulness techniques?
In this Wellness Walk we approach overcoming anxiety as the endpoint and put in place exercises to help alleviate anxiety. Each Overcoming Anxiety Wellness Walk involves both guided meditation and mindfulness experiences. Guided meditations help you quickly achieve a deeper state of self awareness. Mindfulness techniques help you be more present in the moment.
Being mindful in the moment and more fully aware of our present state is a proven method for overcoming anxiety. You will gain an insight into your own behaviour and gain strategies to help yourself with anxiety.

- Learn ways to take consistent, little steps away from an anxiety-fuelled life.
- Learn how to find passion and joy in your own day to day experience as a way to begin taking full responsibility for a less anxious life.

Meet at the Pasha Way meets the carpark – on the grass. Keep an eye out, I will have a blue and white check flag with me. Parking is free.
Blackbutt, Richley Reserve
Meets Tuesday 9:15am for a 9:30 start. Concludes at 11:00am
To keep things simple and save on parking fees, meet at the public entrance to Richley Reserve at the Corner of Mahogany Drive and Freyberg Street. Keep an eye out, I will have a blue and white check flag with me.
Speers Point Park
Meets Wednesday 9:15am for a 9:30 start. Concludes at 11:00am
Make your way to the entrance to the children’s playground. Keep an eye out, I will have a blue and white check flag with me.
Yuelarbah Trail, Glenrock
Meets Thursday 9:15am for a 9:30 start. Concludes at 11:00am
Also Saturday 3.45pm fopr a 4:00pm start. Concludes at 6:00pm
Meet at the Yuelarbah Trail signpost – at the entrance to the track next to the carpark. Easy peasy. Keep an eye out, I will have a blue and white check flag with me.
